We understand that data integrity is of utmost importance to our clients.  With that in mind, PharPoint employs the following hardware and software components to ensure that our clients' data is secure.

Hardware

PharPoint's servers are racked in a Tier 1 data center with three levels of access security (physical, electronic, and biometric), redundant power and internet, as well as full environmental control.  The facility provides 24 by 7 by 365 monitoring and support.  Our production servers are equipped with redundant drive arrays and power supplies for increased fault tolerance, as well as a combination of data access and backup software to ensure data security and recoverability.

Software

PharPoint embraces the use of both commercial and open source software components to provide quality solutions to fulfill our clients' needs.  These systems include:

• Clintrial 4 Clinical Data Management System: Comprehensive, regulatory compliant software to collect, manage, and review clinical data.  This system uses an Oracle backend database for reliability and point-of-failure recoverability.

• SAS System: Leading statistical data analysis and reporting software, designed for data access, transformation and descriptive statistics.

• PharPoint Platform:  Secure web-based system using the open source Alfresco Content Management System for the storage and retrieval of electronic project files and information as well version control and enhanced workflows.
  

All of these systems have been validated and are compliant with industry requirements and regulations.

EDC

PharPoint’s streamlined work processing gives us the ability to adapt our internal processes to work effectively with a variety of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.  With this system-agnostic approach, we can provide our clients the solution that best suits their project needs.
